Tuesday nights just haven’t been the same since Tim and Eric went on their winter break. Every week, 10 p.m. EST rolls around and we just sit and stare at their live page, wondering when they’ll return.
Actually, it says it right there on the page: “We’ll Be Back January 29th.”
So, that takes care of that. In the meantime, we thought we’d put together this star-studded highlights reel from the first six Tim And Eric Nite Live’s to hold you over. Super-mega-celebrities include Zach Galifianakis, Fred Armisen, Bob Odenkirk, Will Forte, Brody Stevens and Jonah Hill.
Name Drop #1: Jonah Hill
Remember a few months ago when Super Deluxe had those REEEEALLY annoying pop-up ads on our homepage for SuperBad? Michael Cera, Jonah Hill and the kid who played McLovin would magically appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your monitor and implore you to “Go see SuperBad…Bad…”
Well, look who’s popping up now in Tim And Eric Nite Live!
That’s Jonah Hill (as some of you astutely observed). He claimed to be a T&E fanatic by the name of Pat Horse in last week’s episode. But we’ve studied the footage for a week now, and we’re pretty sure it’s Jonah.
To all of you faithful viewers, we offer our sincere apologies. From what we know, some intern at the Super Deluxe Sacramento office loaded his goddamn video blog or something onto the server and jammed everything up.
The complete sixth episode of Tim and Eric Nite Live will be posted on our home page soon…WITH SOUND!!
…before their big winter break, that is. They won’t be going back on air until Tuesday January 29th. At least, that’s what their live page says…
They set the dates and type them into those little boxes. We just obey them like stupid, stupid sheep. In the meantime, did you know Eric Wareheim just directed a music video for The Bird And The Bee? It’s called “Polite Dance Song” and it’s nothing less than the best slowjam of the new millennium.
In another meantime, shouldn’t you revisit the now infamous gingerbread house meltdown from Tim and Eric Nite Live #5? We took the liberty of giving the whole debacle with SNL’s Will Forte a video of its own. Just to be festive.
Our usual blogger, El Douche A is on vacation in Nicaragua, probably walking around in flip-flops, stoned out of his mind on some dog-shit local weed, like the filthy hippie that he is.

And yet, it is still DOMINATING this poor blog. We can’t seem to write about anything else. We’ve tried. Yesterday, we started a thread about the mainstreaming of Jenkem, which is kind of messed up. We always wanted to keep our little crap huffing hobby underground. But whatever–we’ve got bigger battles to fight right now.
Now, if you missed the debut of Tim And Eric Nite Live last night, you can watch it HERE tomorrow. “But this is the Internet! Why don’t you have it up right now, you fucking half-wits?” Good question! You see, there’s a time lapse in this process because the digital format of the wav. files are and need to be downloaded and rebooted for a higher quality mega-byte pixel of higher definition embed codes from the live broadcast on Windows Media Players to be and forever more optimized in a holy union of online connections to and from the Internet forthright.

Tell me about T & E nitelive…
T: It’s uhm, it’s really gonna be live, what you see on line is what’s really happening in the studio. We’re not thinking about it too much, planning it the day of the show.
E: It’s really going to give us a chance to talk about ehings we love,. The first episode is going to be all about Papa Johns pizza and the kind of dips they offer.
T: We’re going to do as much free advertising for large corporations as possible
B: isn it amazing that some people didn’t get Shrek?
E: it was quite amazing, alot of our fans didn’t get it either…
T: I get people not getting the 1st or 2nd, but…
E: But after all the ads for shrek, you just have to get it
T: If I was more cynical I thnk I might have thought this was legitimate, like this was some guerrilla marketing campaign.
B: Who are some of the guests going to be on NITELIVE?
E: most of the time it’s going to be guests from “Awesome Show”. Our first night the musical guest is David Liebe Hart and Richard Dunn is also a guest
T: Richard Dunn has a beard now and will be shaving his beard live…
B: This kind of reminds me of Andy Kaufman a little, but not with the creepy aspect of trying to figure out what kind of “statement” is being made…
T: Also a little of the first season of letterman, where it really was “anything goes”
B: How long is the show?
T: The show is supposed to be 3 minutes.
E: We did a test last week and it was 20 and we still didn’t hit all the material we wanted to do…
T: It’s probably going to be half hour.. 15 minutes to half hour.
B: You will be doing this while you’re doing Awesome Show. Alot of work, right?
E: It is a lot of work, but we are going to try to incorporate “AWESOME” into NITELIVE.
T: it’s for people who like our show, so…if you don’t like AWESOME you probably won’t be into NITELIVE
B: I just want to say it is the tv show I am most excited about, outside of the show David and I just wrote for HBO.
T: We’re really trying not to overthink it…
E: and the fun part is you can skype us in and talk to us via webcam…
B: I use Skype. I talk to the Straitjacket guys in England on it.
T: Do you ever use the Webcam?
B: No. One last thing in this extensive interivew. Tell me about TIMANDERIC LIVE in Vegas.
E: It’s going to be our ultimate live show. See some T&E bits we did on our live tour, also a lot of people you’ve seen on our show and you will see them live.
B: It’s for hbo…somehow?
E: Yeah, it’s at Ceasers palace.
B: How much are tickets?
T: It is a little expensive. It’s way too expensive for the show you’ll get.
E: But the neat thing is, the night before, on the 14th they are doing a big party for Awesome show, and fans can come. It’s at Ceaser’s Palace at 8 oclock, totally free.
