Hidden Gem: Whats Doin With Gabe And Jenny

There are lots of videos on Super Deluxe. Some don’t always get the proper attention they deserve. Thus, this feature.

If you don’t already know, Gabe & Jenny are just friends. Like, Plato-tonic style. Duh. They’re also a comedy duo with a weekly show in Brooklyn. And you may have seen Ms. Slate before on VH1’s Best Week Ever. But more to the point, their Super Deluxe series called Whats Doin With Gabe & Jenny is a quirky, overlooked classic (or at least, so says us). It’s like watching your two favorite Jewish grandparents inhabit the bodies of a couple of 20-something New Yorkers all rotoscoping their way through the American pop culture maelstrom.

Or something like that.
