Is Barack Obama “The Promising Negro For The Future?”

According to this recently unearthed film from 1972 by the Occidental College Student Film Councel [sic], he is. Press play and take a trip back to the Illinois senator’s formative years as an idealistic undergraduate, hungry for consensus among his peers about “n*ggas in the World Bank” and “reefer.”

    • This can only help Senator Obama in his bid to get elected president. It shows that he has a sense of humor. However, Obama was born in 1961. That would have made him 11 in 1972. He doesn’t look 11 in the video.

    • Right, he’d be eleven in 1972. Clever vid, but not clever enough. I don’t think it’s all that funny. I like SuperDeluxes cutting edge humor, but this didn’t sit well with me. Maybe because The Obama family are my neighbors and I’ve made such an emotional investment this election season.
Freddy Lockhart, this is a bust. Try, try again…with something else.

    • And how, Jack, can it show Barack Obama has a sense of humor when he had nothing to do with it?
