The extra arm that we grew to pat ourselves on the back has come in pretty handy now that we’re done fluffing up the home page et. al. with our favorite videos of the year and what not. Yes, our new appendage–unbeknownst to us–just loves messing around on the YouTube. Particularly, digging up videos of people smoking salvia.
Salvia? Yes, salvia divinorum. It’s a form of sage that’s completely legal in the majority of these United States, although, chances are, a federal ban against it is coming soon. Not helping its case any is the massive crop of salvia smoking videos that have mushroomed up online recently. There are thousands of them. And they all pretty much consist of the same thing: people losing their proverbial shit. It’s as entertaining to watch as it undoubtedly is terrifying to experience. Lucky for us, we do not have to partake in this 100% licit activity to enjoy it. Salvia smokers far and wide have already gone through the trouble of documenting their freaky-deaky trips into the mystic online.

This time of year can pretty rough on people. What with all the stresses of Christmas shopping and family get-togethers and blog posts and alcoholism and everything. Long story short, I had a bad day yesterday and unfortunately it was all caught on film.

For some odd reason, he’s been the most popular person on the blog lately. So, when the “Genuine Nerd” announced that he would graciously provide us with a few year-in-review videos, who were we to deny him? For your meta-viewing pleasure, we present Toby Radloff watching and discussing some of his favorite Super Deluxe videos of the year (just in case you didn’t feel like watching them yourself and forming your own opinions).
Sean Watkins is the big, hairy guy from Fark TV that everybody loves. He’s also a goddamn criminal.

Dead?! From imbibing alcoholic beverages in his turd cutter (a practice widely known as “BOOFING IT”)?! How is that possible?! It just doesn’t make sense. How did he know about Devin Flynn and the joys of cramming Miller Lite and Gentleman Jack bottles up his shitslot without ever seeing the “BOOF IT” scene in Y’all So Stupid #1?! The article says he died in 2004, and we didn’t even debut Devin’s first short until this year. Dude couldn’t possibly have come up with “BOOFING IT” all on his own. There’s no way.
Perhaps the only sane explanation is that we created a time machine, travelled back three years ago to Texas, made the poor guy watch Super Deluxe and then laughed all the way back to the year 2007 while he was struck with the inspiration to star in his very own home movie, Leaving Las Vegas Anally. That’s not funny, but it’s entirely possible. Or not. Either way, we’ve now retroactively included this warning in Y’all So Stupid #1:

Remember a few months ago when Super Deluxe had those REEEEALLY annoying pop-up ads on our homepage for SuperBad? Michael Cera, Jonah Hill and the kid who played McLovin would magically appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your monitor and implore you to “Go see SuperBad…Bad…”
Well, look who’s popping up now in Tim And Eric Nite Live!
That’s Jonah Hill (as some of you astutely observed). He claimed to be a T&E fanatic by the name of Pat Horse in last week’s episode. But we’ve studied the footage for a week now, and we’re pretty sure it’s Jonah.
