Waco & Roger have been in the funny biz for a while. First came their Damn! Show. From there, the infamous Yucko the Clown insulted his way into the comedy world. Then they did their MTV2 show, Stankervision. And now, they call Super Deluxe home sweet home.
Their Too Soon? series for us is instant gratification for anybody who can’t wait to start making jokes about real-life celebrity meltdowns. And now they have a new Super Deluxe show that’s premiering on Monday that we just had to ask them about.
So, what’s it all about?

The premiere episode is about little people with some big issues. Did you have any real life issues with them on the shoot?
One of the little guys almost paralyzed Waco for life. We had a “break-away chair” that didn’t really “break away” when he hit Waco in the head with it. But on the bright side, our craft service budget was cut in half.
Too Soon? has already spoofed Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie, which pretty much makes you experts on America’s celebrity fuck-up daughters. Give us a Too Soon? wish-list of predictions about their respective futures.
If all goes well Britney will get a sex change, Paris will smother a hobo, Lindsay will get into a knife fight with the Pope, and Nicole will keep doing what she’s doing now.
Speaking of predictions, you guys have been in the comedy video game in every facet—on VHS, on DVD, on TV and now on Super Deluxe and YouTube. What’s next for you guys and the industry?
We’d like to do a full-length feature. Unfortunately, unlike MTV2 shows, they don’t give movie deals to just anyone. We keep sending Yucko to meetings with movie executives, but no luck so far. Maybe they don’t like dirty polka dots.
Do you think this explosion in Internet comedy videos is just going to keep growing or is the bubble about to burst?
This is just the beginning for Internet comedy. It’s great for us. We have the opportunity to be more topical than we ever could be on TV. As long as our mothers don’t figure out how to use the Internet, we’re golden.
Well, whatever happens, you’ll always have Yucko the Clown. Is there anybody you’ve really pissed off with Yucko or anybody you’d like to piss off? Anything that’s off-limits for him to make fun of?
Nothing is off limits for Yucko. He has gotten a few bumps and bruises from his on the street interviews. The person he really wants to get is Bette Midler. He hates Bette and wants to make fun of that “fat swollen head of hers.”
